Refund and Returns Policy

We recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you or that you collect from Air Conditioners Ghana store and website, to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality, and also match the description we have provided to you. Be sure to inspect your items for possible damage, defects and inaccurate specifications at the time of delivery. Once products are delivered to you and accepted as accurate and as per the original order, there is no refund or exchange possible. 

If any received product is damaged or is of different model from your original order, please contact Customer Service Number within 48 hrs of delivery with a valid receipt Only for such cases, please allow one to 48 hours for replacement. You will be contacted once your replacement is complete. We will be able to accept and replace the item as long as it is in its original packaging and accompanied with a valid receipt. Products must also be free of any cosmetic and mechanical damage caused by the customer. Any product that has been installed or attempted to be installed cannot be returned. 

After reviewing the claim, Air Conditioners Ghana will contact you to discuss the options available to resolve the issue. In most cases, Air Conditioners Ghana will either arrange for the return of the damaged product for replacement or refund — or a replacement part may be provided where the damage is minor.

We will process a return only if:

  • we determine that the product was not damaged while in your possession;
  • the product is not different from what we delivered to you;
  • you return the product in its original condition (with the brand’s/manufacturer’s box, MRP tag intact, user manual, warranty card and all the accessories therein).

If the product is accepted by you or your representative (anyone receiving the order on your behalf) at the time of delivery, the products cannot be returned later. To ensure that you face no issues regarding this, Air Conditioners Ghana team will leave your premises only when you are satisfied with the order. Only items with major defects or non-functionality will be taken back.

Please choose carefully as returns are not normally accepted where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order.

However, if we are able to accept an order that has been delivered without defect but the customer decides to cancel the order for a change of mind, a 20% restocking fee will be charged on all returned merchandise. Refunds on canceled orders will be processed and refunded within 14 days of confirmation in writing of the cancellation request or within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods. All courier costs associated with this return will be the responsibility of the customer.

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition. That means your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. The item must be in the original packaging and returned with any accessories, labels and “free gifts” or bonus items. To complete your refund or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will call or send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 14 calendar days. Delivery and handling charges from our warehouse are non-refundable.

  • Only defective/damaged products will be accepted for replacement/refunds.
  • Customers need to raise an alert with us within 48 hours from the time of delivery for being eligible for the return.
  • Only those products will be eligible for return policies which are received by us within 48 hours from the time of delivery.
  • Air Conditioners Ghana retains the rights to examine whether the product returned is defective/damaged and based on the verification Air Conditioners Ghana will either replace the product to the customer.
  • In case product is defective or damaged then the Air Conditioners Ghana team will replace and deliver the product to the same delivery address of the customer subject to the availability of the stock of the product.
  • Any return or refund is applicable on only AC UNIT and no refund or return request would be entertained related to scratches or damages on packaging carton/Cover. For minor scratches arising out of transit and shipment, the return or refund request are subject to consideration and sole discretion of Air Conditioners Ghana. Air Conditioners Ghana reserves right to decline any such request subject to inspection of unit and state of AC UNIT delivered.
  • For reverse pickup requests on cases other than Damaged Unit, you would have to bear the to and fro delivery charges.
  • Refunds for online payment would be made after deducting transaction charges as applicable and levied by different payment gateways.
  • For any damaged AC UNIT if found on received, any refund replacement request has to be filed within 48 hours of successful receipt. Air Conditioners Ghana reserves the right to not consider any request raised after 48 hours or receipt of the AC UNIT.
  • Once the AC unit has been delivered and it is opened by you/ or installed at your premises, no REFUND/RETURN request would be entertained. You would have to seek manufacturer warranty thereof according to T and C of respective manufacturer. Air Conditioners Ghana shall hold no responsibility on units beyond Delivery.
  • For any reason, other than a damage in AC Unit, if you do not receive the delivery, you would have to bear the cost of delivery/ any other logistic fees arising thereof.
  • In case the returned product is not defective/damaged then the customer will be informed about the same and the same product will be re-delivered to the shipping address of the order.
  • Customers will have to bear the delivery charges for the replaced/re-delivered product.
  • If the product stock is unavailable then a request for the refund will be initiated and the same shall be informed to the customer through registered email.[ Refund should get processed within 3-7 working days of request initiation ]
  • Products & warranty by 3rd Party Vendors. Brands, Logos, Creative’s, Trademarks, and Copyrights are owned by their respective owners. Air Conditioners Ghana disclaims liability for violation of any 3rd party rights.
  • Refund will be processed via the channel used to make payment and in case of FULL refund 3.5% will be deducted towards payment gateway charges if any.

To receive a refund, please make sure of the following:

  • All returned merchandise must be in resalable condition
  • The product must be free from damages, scratches and/or defects
  • All merchandise must not have been installed
  • You must have the original manufacturer packaging for the item (manuals, accessories, packaging materials) and unopened
  • All free or gift items including accessories must be included with your return
  • There cannot be any writing or labels on the original manufacturer packaging for the item.
